The Story Behind “Penelope Paige Esthetics” A Name, A Memory, A Purpose

When people hear the name Penelope Paige Esthetics, they often ask where it came from. It’s more than just a business name—it’s a part of my heart. It carries a story of loss, hope, love, and the strength that women carry deep within themselves, even in their most fragile moments.

For a long time, I kept this story close, letting it shape me quietly. But I’ve come to learn that sharing is healing—not just for ourselves, but for others who may be walking their own quiet roads.

I experienced two miscarriages. The first, though early, left a mark that only those who’ve been through it truly understand. Then came the second pregnancy. This time felt different. It lasted longer. I had this deep, maternal sense that we were expecting a girl. I could feel her spirit, her softness, and her lightness. I had already started calling her Penelope Paige in my heart.

We lost her at 10 weeks.

This time, the grief was heavier, not just because we had gone further, but because I felt so connected to her. Saying goodbye to her was saying goodbye to the daughter I had already begun to dream about.

Shortly after, I underwent surgery to remove a large cyst. The procedure also took one of my ovaries and a fallopian tube. It was another layer of loss—another part of me, gone. My body and heart had been through so much, yet I gave myself the time to heal, to grieve, and eventually, to hope—again.

And then, we came across a miracle: finding out that we were expecting once more. This time, our rainbow baby arrived earthside in January 2024—our beautiful son, Tyler Rex. We named him after my grandfather, Rex Hendrix, who at 92 years old still carries the wisdom, strength, and steadiness that helped ground me through the storms.

Penelope Paige never made it into this world, but she shaped mine forever. I named my business in her honor as a way to keep her spirit alive—a reminder that beauty can be born from pain and that love never disappears; it simply transforms.
